WAITING LIST PRIVACY

Privacy notice

Last updated: 21 October 2026.

This notice explains how personal information submitted to the Metrivana pre-launch waiting list is used.

Who is responsible

The data controller is Ryan Milton, trading as Metrivana (an individual operating under a trading name, not a registered limited company). For privacy enquiries or to exercise your rights, email [email protected].

Information we collect

When you register, we collect your email address, optional business name, and a record of your consent (including its date and version). Our hosting provider may also process technical information, such as IP addresses and request logs, for security and service operation.

Why we use it and lawful basis

We use your registration to manage the waiting list and, where you have consented, to contact you with Metrivana development, early-access and launch updates. The lawful basis for sending these optional updates is your consent. You can withdraw it at any time by emailing [email protected]. Withdrawal does not affect processing that took place before withdrawal.

Where information is stored and shared

Waiting-list information is stored using Cloudflare Pages and Cloudflare D1. Cloudflare acts as an infrastructure provider and may process information internationally. Where required, appropriate international transfer safeguards must apply. We do not sell waiting-list information. We may disclose information where legally required.

How long we keep it

We keep waiting-list information while preparing for launch and for no longer than 12 months after Metrivana launches, unless you separately agree to ongoing communications. We will delete it sooner if you withdraw consent or request erasure, subject to any overriding legal requirement. Limited security logs may have separate provider retention periods.

Your data protection rights

Subject to applicable legal conditions, you can request access to your personal information, correction of inaccurate information, erasure, restriction of processing, or portability, and you may object to certain processing. You can withdraw consent at any time. Contact [email protected] to make a request. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

If you are unhappy with how your information is handled, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint. We would welcome the opportunity to address your concern first.

Changes to this notice

We may update this notice as the service develops. The latest version will be available on this page. If we want to use your details for a materially different purpose requiring consent, we will ask for it first.
